The French-Chinese Bulldog arrived to his new home in US

Got a good news from this guy today: my customer in US bought him as a gift for the child of her friend and  ordered another one for herself straight away! She says that she likes my pup so much and can not let him go :) I am very pleased to be busy making his brother this weekend.

Louise - chinoiserie french bulldog

Chinoiserie, 17th- and 18th-century Western style of interior design, furniture, pottery, textiles, and garden design that represents fanciful European interpretations of Chinese styles. In the first decades of the 17th century, English and Italian and, later, other craftsmen began to draw freely on decorative forms found on cabinets, porcelain vessels, and embroideries imported from China. The earliest appearance of a major chinoiserie interior scheme was in Louis Le Vau’s Trianon de porcelaine of 1670–71 (subsequently destroyed), built for Louis XIV at Versailles.Brittanica.  Now you know the reason for my choice of fabric for another french bulldog. Meet Louise. 100 % cotton, filling - polyester.
